A minor can be charged with murder. It is even possible that they will charged as an adult. Most states will not allow criminal charges against a child that is 12 or younger. …It is generally beleived that they do not have the mental capacity to understand the results and cosequences of their actions, therefore they cannot have the mens rea required to prove intent.
1.5 million children were murdered during the Holocaust. Including over a million Jewish children and tens of thousands of Romani (Gypsy) children German children with physica…l and mental disabilities living in institutions, Polish children, and children residing in the occupied Soviet Union. It can depend on the age of the minor when they committed the murder. They could be sentenced to juvenile detention to be served behind bars until they reached their 21st birt…hday. If the juvenile was old enough (e.g.: in their teens) the court could decide to bind them over for trial as an adult and they would be liable for sentencing as an adult, for the crime.. will a minor get life without parole for murder . Added: In the law, anything is possible, but it is very unlikely a juvenile would get that severe a sentence.
All children murderers have one thing in common. Their father was either always drunk, in jail, or never there for them . The newsmedia enjoys making it seem that child mur…derers do it for the attention. Jon Venables and Robert Thompson are two of the youngest murderers in history. Both had poor excuses for fathers. The infamous Columbine shootings were due to two teens, Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold. They were bullied, had unstable households, murdered several classmates, and finally commited suicide.

Very good question and I don't think there is a simple easy answer to it. I have had children in my classroom who seemed to have a predisposition to violence and it is hard to… figure out why. There are many possible causes for a child to act this way and for each there is a different reason.
