Is 18 an irrational?
No. An irrational number cannot be expressed as a/b where a and b are integers, b not zero. 18 = 18/1 = 36/2 = -36/-2 etc.

The square root of 18 is an irrational number because it cannot be expressed as a fraction.
-18 is the ratio of -18 and 1 ... nice and rational. Also the ratio of 18 and -1, of 36 and -2, of 180 and -10, etc.
yes it is an irrational number No because 18 is a rational number
No. If you can write the number on paper, it's rational. -18 is the ratio of -18 to 1, and also the ratio of 18 to -1.
The square root of (any number that isn't a perfect square) is irrational.
Integers (whole numbers, without a decimal point, including negative whole numbers) are real numbers; they are rational; therefore they are not irrational.
18 is rational. Rational numbers are numbers that can be written as a fraction. Irrational numbers cannot be expressed as a fraction.
No. It can be written as a fraction, so it is rational.
It is neither because the square root of -18 is an imaginary number but the square root of 18 is irrational
No. It is -3 and can be written as a fraction, so it is rational.
Yes because it can't be expressed as a fraction
Yes because it can't be expressed as a fraction.
It is a rational number
Sqrt(18/2) =Sqrt(9) =3 which is rational.
