Usually measured in pounds or kilos.
If you want to measure anything you put it on a balance(scale). You probably want to use a digital kitchen scale as they are very accurate and can normally cope with mass's up… to 4 may be 5kg.
Remember K H D | d c m (kilo, hecto, deka, (liter, meter, gram), deci, centi, milli). These are the denominations you need to list when converting metric units. Grams are thre…e places to the right of kilograms. So you have to move the decimal place three times to the right (same as multiplying by 1000). You will get 4.5 kg = 4500 g.
That depends on how big the bag is.
A single potato, probably grams, but you would buy them by the kg.
A mass of 10.0 kg on the Earth with a local acceleration due to gravity of 9.81 m s -1 gives a force (f = ma) of 98.1 newtons.
Exactly 2.2 .
1 kg = 1000 g Therefore 22000g = 22 kg
100,000 dynes = 1 newton 50 dynes = 0.0005 newton On Earth, weight = 9.807 newton/kilogram. (0.0005 newton) / (9.807 N/kg) = 0.000051 kilogram = 0.051 gram (That'…s not a whole lot of milk in the bag.)
2.25kgs? i think (i did it in my head)
It would usually be 2kg.
Neither. Both have the same mass.
The mass of a bag of sugar is given as 1.5 kg correct to the nearest one tenth of a kilogram. what is the upper bound of this mass in grams?
If it is "correct to 1/10th of a kilogram", that means that the meximum error is 1/2 that amount, in other words, 1/20th of a kilogram. I suggest you convert everything to gra…ms first - 1 kilogram = 1000 grams. .
If 5 potatoes together have a mass of 1 kilogram and 8 pears together have a mas of 1200 grams which has a greater mass a potato or a explain?
It's 1200 because 1 km is equal to 1000
