Electronic devices are devices which involve the control of the flow of electrons by means of other electrons, rather than by mechanical means. A physical switch, consisting of a piece of metal which touches another piece of metal to pass along a flow of electrons is NOT an electronic device, but rather is an ELECTRICAL device. A TRANSISTOR, in which a small voltage controls a larger flow of electrons, IS an ELECTRONIC device. A vacuum tube is also an ELECTRONIC device, because a small voltage on the grid of the tube controlls a larger current of electicity through the tube.

In the circuit shown above it is clear that the diode is forward bias and hence equivalent to short circuit (because it is ideal diode). Now analyze the variation of Vo. It is clear that And because V i varies sinusoidally, so V o also varies sinusoidally. Step 3 : Now analyze the circuit with negative half cycle The next step is to check the condition of diode i.e., whether the diode is forward bias or reverse bias. Sometimes in medication bottles they come not in packets, but in little white plastic cylinders. . Every time you find a silica packet or plastic cylinder, save it. Put all of them in a sealed plastic bag, so they stay fresh and do not absorb moisture from the air. Next time one of your electronic devices gets wet, wrap it in a paper towel and seal it up in the bag with the silica packets. Wait 3 to 5 days. Your device should be good as new. . Several months ago I dropped my TV remote into a bucket of water. I didn't even notice at first, so the remote stayed submerged for nearly 10 minutes. After shaking the excess water out of it, I wrapped it in a paper towel and put it into a Ziploc bag full of silica packets and cylinders I had saved.
