I live in Stark County (North Canton, Plain Township) and have been watching a large one for about a week now (December 2008) and have gotten it on video to show some neighbors that don't believe me. I'm seeing it in the corn field behind my house in the mid mor…nings, around 9:30-11:30 AM. We have a few brush/dirt piles in this field and I have seen it enter one of them on two ocassions. I think this may be it's den. We have heard them two or three times at night the last two summers. What people don't realize is when they are calling, most of the time the pack sounds like a bunch of teenagers yelling and having a crazy party. I know this sounds odd but I never hear them calling like the T.V. westerns play it. I wasn't sure if I could tell the difference between a coyote and a small dog that is similar in appearance, but after seeing this one, there's no doubt what you're looking at.. No, Kentucky owns it. It was just named the Ohio River because tons of people in the late 1600's came down that river to come to Ohio so that's why its called the "Ohio River" but Kentucky officially owns it. But Ohio owns the whole bridge. -Hope this helps!-
